Neck lift surgeries are applied for the treatment of problems such as wrinkling, sagging, thickening and displacement in the neck area, which increase with aging. The effect of gravity on skin, tissue and muscles causes visible sagging and changes in the neck. Belt-shaped folds form on the neck, fat accumulates under the jowl. With the changes in the face, a noticeable change in the appearance of the person is observed.

In neck and lower face lift procedures, an incision is sometimes made in front of and behind the ear and sometimes under the chin. The skin of the face and neck remains free. The excess skin is removed. If necessary, the fat in the jowl and under the chin area is removed by liposuction.

As in every surgery, there is a scar here, but it does not attract attention because it is performed under the chin, behind the favourite line and in front of and behind the ear.
